Nothing is set until you accept
The analytics tag loads with every storage category set to denied, before it can write anything. Only after you accept in the banner does it switch to granted. Decline and it stays denied for as long as you keep that choice.
What we would set, if you accept
Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga and a property-specific variant), which distinguish one visitor from another so we can see which pages lead somewhere and which are dead ends. They last up to two years and contain a random identifier, not your name.
One entry in your browser’s local storage records the choice you made in the banner, so we do not ask again on every page. That one is set either way, because remembering “no” is the only way to honour it.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party pixels, no session recording. The configurator runs locally and needs no cookie to work.
Changing your mind
Clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner returns on your next visit, with the choice open again. Any cookies already set are removed with the same action.
